The Cyber Threat Intelligence world is probably smaller then you think! There’s nothing quite like sharing good gouge with a trusted friend whether that’s from a training program, conference, or a volunteer organization. Take a look at some of our favorites.
Who knows? We just might bump into each other along the way.
Profile
As a chameleon of many talents and cultures, I might just have to update this from time to time with the latest swag.
Skull Games
IDENTIFY. INTERDICT. EMPOWER.
A veteran led, faith influenced, #osintforgood non-profit working together with law enforcement and a small army of volunteers to identify perpetrators of sex trafficking in the United States so that they might be brought to justice and their victims receive the support they need to accept recovery services.
The Skull Games team utilizes a jujitsu belt ranking system for staff and volunteers and screens their applicants for background checks and OSINT skills. If you are interested in getting involved, see their website at https://skullgames.io/. “Hunts” are conducted in person around the country as well as remote team capabilities. The community is quite active in Slack for communications.
Trace Labs
We crowdsource OSINT to help find missing people.
A global osintforgood non-profit focused on identifying leads to law enforcement for missing persons cases and bringing hope to the MPs family and friends.
Very beginner friendly, Trace Labs has mastered the gamification of a very serious subject. Volunteers can compete or act as judges, validating submissions from the contestants. Check out their website at https://www.tracelabs.org/. The community has a very active Discord channel where you can get all the latest news and alerts including finding out how to get involved with ongoing operations or the next capture the flag (CTF).
